Townhomes and Insurance

Hi all

In a townhome, the condo fee is including the insurance of the building.
In your opinion, do I need to take insurance for my property?

I suggest you take a close look at what the condo insurance covers (or doesn`t cover). In my case, I decided to take out my own policy to cover paint, flooring, light fixtures, cabinets, appliances and lost rent should there be a major event like a fire. I went through Statefarm with a monthly cost of about $15.00.
