This not what I`ve seen - Does this vary by area / case worker / process used to contact them ?
Anyone have much expertise with this system who can advise?

I NEVER saw a case where they get paid by government but do not pay you. I`m sure it can happen but rarely.

I know we have had issues with this and the workers have basically said they don`t care. There is no repercussion for the client.

And most don`t think tenants should agree to pay direct rent either!

I always thought the OW/ODSP was a reliable source of collecting rent until I saw how professional tenants would work loads of money from the system.
