Splitting a Land Title In Calgary.

Hi,

I`m considering buying a house in Calgary that is actually a duplex, but it is one property on the land title. I`m curious if anyone knows the cost of splitting the two sides into two separate titles. Has anyone done this before and remember, how hard and expensive it was?

The price sounds ok, but the 8 months makes it a different ball game. That`s a long time. Was that a standard amount of time, or were there other issues? Thanks for the info!
