Referral for misc services in Calgary

Hi,

I`m looking for some service providers and trades in Calgary. I`ve used a few, out of word of mouth and yellow pages but it`s been hit and miss. If anyone could help me with a:
-plumber
-locksmith
-carpet cleaner / cleaning service
-general handyman (really need this one)
-electrician
-HVAC

As a suggestion, I would also ask for referrals and quote estimates when working with new trades. Once you get to know them, you build up a great working relationship with them.

Some things to always look for are:

Insurance
Workman`s safety coverage
City Licenses
Better Business

I would also recommend speaking with other clients of theirs.

Finally, as with all agreements, make sure your contracts are in writing and everything is spelled out.

Hi Marc

I highly recommend Network Electric. Call Richard Leaney at 651-6630. They upgraded the service panels and ran new wires for some appliances and both garages in a full duplex for me. They came on time did the work right and didn`t leave a mess. Richard is also a REIN member

Hi there, for carpet cleaning I have used Lorne from Dirt Busters 880-1119. He does a great job and takes care not to damage your carpet.

Can anyone suggest a landscaper in Calgary who can do a retaining wall, weed control, ice control in the winter and sod laying
