Port Hardy! What are the the economics there?

Hi,

I am considering looking at some rentals in port hardy and was wondering if anyone knows what the economy is like there and what the rentals are like there.

any and all suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance

V Island has a weak economy, it is dead outside of Nanaimo, Campbell River or Victoria, and Port Hardy is dead dead dead.



Only seniors or retirees with cash from Lower Mainland or Alberta move to V Island, and then near select golf courses or marinas - with no rain. Port Hardy is rainy, no highway and far FAR away from anything. Do NOT invest there. You have been warned.

Why don't you tell us why it may make sense despite a weak economy, a hard time to find property managers or major repair talent and no in-migration.
