Oshawa Student Rental By-Law Meeting

Here`s an article that gives a good overview of the issues that are happening in Oshawa around the OUIT Campus. The article says there were over 300 people at the meeting, I was there and did a count and I got almost 450. They had to close the doors and send the overflow into a second room where they were broadcasting the meeting. I don`t know how many were in there, if any.

If you do a search on this website you`ll see some more articles. Like the one that talks about the 17 homes that the city went into with warrants to search for leases! Let`s hope this meeting resolves some of the issues. Finally the city has allowed landlords and students to speak.
