Need help on researching real estate investing opportunities

Hello REIN community,

I'm reading the book REAL ESTATE INVESTING IN CANADA and find it very hard to search for information such as: Which town has increasing average income and increased immigration and demand. Could anyone share what source you use to search for information and how do you narrow down your target city to invest? Any help is deeply appreciated!

PWC puts out one of the most robust reports out there in terms of the major RE drivers.

This is probably the best quality report out there in terms of ranking real estate markets. There is really no need to pay for research like this...

Your target city should be very close to where you live if your just starting out unless you live in an extremely depressed location.
