Lease Agreement

I am looking for my first Ontario lease agreement.

I have noticed several sites offering examples, or pay a small fee for one. I know wording can be important so how would I know if legit/stand up in court? Are these sites backed by lawyers?

Where could I obtain a lease agreement that I can ammend that comes from a legit source?

Also, if it is a condo, it likely needs to be specifically geared to condos am I right? Or would a generic one likely do?

You have a few options:

- Landlord self help. Toronto 425 Adelaide W. 416-504-5190, 1800-730-3218. Landlordselfhelp.com, [email protected]

- Become a REIN member.

- Have a lawyer do it for you.

- Prepare and have the tenant/s sign a simple tenant acknowledgement instead of agreement.
