Finders Fees

Had a couple of rental properties offered to me via an old co-worker but am not in a position to take advantage of them at the moment (Over extended with other things I have going on at the moment).



I have offered this opportunity out to a few people I know may be interested.



What do people usually ask/give as a finders fee in these situations where you want to not be involved in the long term?

Depending on what the actual purchase price is will depend on what you can reasonably get for a finders fee. Finders fees are acceptable if there is a fair discount of the property and you can offer the property to a buyer at a discount including the finders fees.

About 1% to maybe 2% if a real good deal and lots of prior due diligence material !
