in an article" demographia international housing affordability survey 2008" I compare median household income is $ 68200 and median house price is $219900 in waterloo. but for abbotsford median household income is $62100 and median house price is $360900. so I thank waterloo is better place to invest than abbotsford. if it is right, can anybody give suggestion?

Good to see that you`re looking at the fundamentals, rather than just jump in blindly.

In your message you are discussing just one of the metrics that need to be analyzed. Yes, with this one fact it looks like one area is better than the other (KWC being tops in the Ontario Top 10 Towns report doesn`t hurt either). However, it is very important that you look at all factors (rents included) that are listed on the Goldmine Scorecard before you put your money into a market.

Many BC based investors, with long-term outlooks, are doing very well in the Abbotsford area as it was named a key area for growth in the REIN `Gateway Report` you can find in the research section of this site.
