Carpeting recommendation for basement suite

Hello all, I'm wondering if there is a general carpet colour/brand for a suite I've got an offer on. Trying to get a more precise estimate of costs to replace ~ 600 ft sq in a basement and need something of decent look/ durability/ price. Anyone know the 'mushroom basket' of carpet?
