Hello Everyone,I received the following e-mail this morning about a meeting that is taking place this Wednesday to discuss licensing for residential rental properties in the city of Hamilton. The following will better explain what is being discussed and when the meeting is taking place. This is our opportunity to get involved. I hope to see many of you there! Please RSVP to the person at the bottom.Wendy==================================================================================Property Managers/Owners/Landlords/Suppliers to the Industry,

The City of Hamilton is having its first public meeting to get feedback from property managers/landlords regarding licensing residential rental housing this Wednesday April 22nd
. It is imperative we fill the room with people who are against this. PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING AND BRING YOUR COLLEAGUES, FAMILY AND FRIENDS
. This meeting should be attended by anyone who owns residential rental properties, works for a property management company, or has clients that are property managers. Once the process gets started it will be difficult to stop it. This is our opportunity to express our opinion. Even though there are parameters (regarding wards), if it gets implemented in any way it will just spread through the city and increase in cost.

Please see the attached file with all the details. Please note it requested you RSVP.

We need you to attend! This includes our suppliers to the industry. You clients need your support on this issue.

This two hours could save you hundreds in annual fees. Rita Hamilton & District Apartment Association=====================================================================
