Basement window replacement - what is the right way?

I used to tackle projects like this myself but like you got too busy to it on myself. I now use Luis from Andino glass (a referral from a friend) for all of my window jobs. He's done a mainfloor full bay window replacement in an occupied house and had it completed in less than a day. Also, his...

    Concrete Cutter in Edmonton

I've been really happy with Supreme concrete. It's a little less the more windows you do ($450 x 3 windows). Also if you need holes cored for your venting they'll do it at the same time for cheaper than anyone else I've found (including renting the equipment and doing it myself...ugh)...

    Resilient Electric Heated Floor

In-floor heating for students?! Man, The millennials are really changing the game! [emoji6] But seriously I agree with sweet zone if the numbers work, do it. In university I rented a house with high-end finishes and me and my roommates stayed there for over 3 years. We loved it and took great...

    Heating a duplex

All great advice here. One thing I would add is to do what you can to have the suites completely separate. If they share an entrance you'll want sound insulated doors to each unit. With separate furnaces, resilient channel and roxul installed, doors were our biggest problem. Also, if you...
