Hello,
Can anyone recommend a gardener in Toronto? (Bathurst/St. Clair)
It is a semi-detached house (2 units) with a small front and back yard. The whole lot is only 20 x 121 feet (including house and double detached garage). The front is landscaped (no grass) and just needs weeding, pruning and a general spring clean-up. The backyard has a tiny lawn (which I think the main floor tenants should take care of).
We just got the following quote:
First visit: pull dandilions, top dress back yard and boulevard and seed, weed out flower beds, trim bushes and add 10 perennials and 6 cell packs annuals $760!!
Maintenance visit every 2 weeks: cut grass, back yard and blvd, weed beds and tidy yard (per visit) $225 - $450/month!!
This quote seems way over-priced to me. Is it? What would be a reasonable charge for spring clean-up?
Our PM has also suggested that we pay our main floor tenants to take care of this. Would you do this, and how much would you pay?
