My post gets moved

I post a notice for upcoming mastermind group meetings in Real Estate Discussion and it gets moved to Members Only Discussion. This is the second time that has happened and I`m puzzled. Our group is not restricted to REIN members only and that is why I do not post in Members Only Discussion - who is taking the initiative to move my post and why is that happening?

If I am contravening any rules or ediquette of the forum I would certainly like to know and if I am not why is my post arbitrarily moved?
We are not an elitist group nor do we want to appear to be. I think having our post in Members Only Discussion makes that appear to be the case. Many of us who wanted to become REIN members did not do so either for financial reasons or lack of credible information on the substance offered in REIN. Having the access to a discussion group prior to joining REIN would have been tremendously supportive and in my personal case may have expedited my decision to join REIN.

Hi Ed,

I did not personally move this topic but I think that in general we assume that a lot of these groups are intended for REIN members only. I will find out if posting such things in the general discussion forums is contrary to any rules or regulations and get back to you once I know!

There seems to be upsurge in spam on the REIN site recently. What are you doing about them? There was a Viagra and credit card and some windows stuffs on this site which are spams.

We have implemented captcha (the verification with the distorted letters and numbers) as well as the e-mail verification system. Unfortunately, spammers these days don`t have too much trouble cutting through those and we don`t want to cut off registration or make it too restricted. We`re looking into a couple solutions once we move My REIN Space over to our own servers, but in our current situation it`s a bit difficult to change some of the server settings that may help against spammers.
