Non-stop from Düsseldorf to Prince George? Flying direct from London to Victoria?

It`s not just a pipe dream, but an ambitious agenda that B.C.`s smaller communities are intent on achieving.

Increasing international air traffic to destinations throughout B.C. is critical if the tourism industry is to meet the the challenge thrown at them last year by Premier Gordon Campbell of doubling annual tourism revenues to $18 billion by 2015.

sure .. maybe 1-3 times .. then a cancelled route ... how many fly fishermen, skidoo-ers, bear hunters and tree huggers do you expect from Düsseldorf ?

maybe a ski shuttle 1x/week to Cranbrook in the winter or to Victoria in summer .. but Prince George ?

Isn`t there a follow-up version to Neil Diamond`s song: It never rains in Southern California. It ALWASY rains in Prince George (or was that Price Rupert) ?
