Hey everyone .. I have a friend who is looking to buy in Toronto and he is from overseas (Dubai).

I grew up in southern Ontario but that was a while ago so my knowledge is limited.

What areas of Toronto would you recommend for investing/living? His office is on Yonge just north of the 401. He would love a house but a condo would be fine too. Doesn't have to be in North York but somewhere close to a subway so he could get there quickly.

Didn't mention a budget but I would assume up to 1M would be fine.

Are you from this area or you have investment property here?

My friends are from Yonge & Finch. They say it's less pricier, but a lot more convenient than many other neighbourhoods.

Price is relative to area/location. A similar single detached home for example in Location A for $500K is probably worth over $2M in Location B. Like in stock market, there is always a reason why price of a particular issue is lower or higher compared to the rest of stocks in the same industry.

Just sharing. It's your call...........
