Any flat roofer recommendation for KW/Hamilton/Milton?

I’m looking for a referral for a 12-unit falt roof that developed ponding of up to 4 inches in a few areas.
I know they use prefabricated Styrofoam sheets to rebuild the slope of the roof before applying the membranes.

A few roofers I talked to don’t seem to care about slope or be interested in working on the slope.

Funny enough, the fine-print at leading flat roof manufacturers (IKO, Firestone) void the manufacturer warranty unless you provide min 1% slope to flat roof, let alone ponding.

I tried to contact myself a manufacturer of slopped styrofoam boards (Platifab) and got a very reasonable price for materials, however they’d sell to roofing contractors only.

Could someone recommend a flat roofer in the area that successfully did apartments building?

Did anybody else had to deal with ponding?

Hi Daniel;

Have you considered replacing the flat roof with a sloped roof? I know it's a big roof - but you might be suprised at the cost between flat roof replacement and building a slope one.

In theory it can be done, the perimeter walls are stud framed, middle wall is concrete. I talked to a structural engineer and he said we'll have to know where each stud is so he could design it in a way that that each truss sits on vertical stud for the load bearing requirements.
Pricewise it might make a big sense, however not sure if it can be done without demolishing the plaster walls. Units are all occupied.

If you know anyone in your vast network who's dealt with it I could appreciate a referral. Thanks, Mike.

I had a similar sized job in St. Catharines over my garage. I just bit the bullet and had a sloped roof built and re-shingled the rest of the roof for about 12k since our plan is to hold the property long-term.
