Advertising a townhouse in Northeast Edmonton on 8 websites.
Week 2 winners were Hometrader.ca, Edmontonsun.ca, and Rentedmonton.com. No responses from Kijiji, craigslist, rentfaster, rentboard, and gottarent. -------------------- Brent Davies, REALTOR

In Calgary, I'm finding that Kijiji is giving me good response and nothing has come from RentFaster.ca

I ran one rental ad on rentboard, kijiji and rentfaster in April for a main floor suite in Edmonton.
Here are the results: Rentboard five inquiries by email. Several by phone although I didn't keep track of the phone calls - probably about five to seven though. I did not modify the ad during the course of the run. Kijiji - 15 email inquiries. No phone calls since I didn't post my phone number on kijiji. I did repost to keep on the top couple of pages and I used several different headlines Rentfaster - nothing except the invoice. -------------------- Jason Scott

Used Rentfaster.ca and Kijiji to rent a place in Okotoks out in 3 days. Main source was rentfaster.ca

I used big 2 rent signs in the front lawn at my rental home. I put them up at 5pm last week, had 2 calls that night, 6 calls next day, 5 the next day after that. I haven't advertised anywhere else.
